A postdoctoral position is available to study structure/function
relationships in the telomeres of Drosophila. Major interests of our
group include the formation of specialized chromatin structures and
their effect on gene expression, and genes that control the
transposition of retrotransposons that target chromosome ends.
Applicants should have a PhD or equivalent degree in genetics,
molecular or cell biology, or a related field. Experience with
Drosophila would be very helpful. While candidates with less than five
years of postdoctoral experience or eligible, recent graduates are
