One postdoctoral position and one research technician position are
available immediately in my lab at NCI-Frederick. My group is focusing
on two new signal transduction pathways, the
Drosophila JAK/STAT and JNK/DJUN/DPP pathways that we
identified recently. For information see Hou, et al.,
1995, Cell, 81: 63-71; Hou, et al.,
1996, Cell, 84: 411-419; Hou, et al.,
1997, Genes & Dev., 11: 1728-1737 and visit our lab.=20
Meanwhile, in collaboration with other NCI molecular oncologists, we
are developing Drosophila genetic models of several
oncogenes and tumor suppressors.=20

</fontfamily><fontfamily><param>Palatino</param> NCI-Frederick is a
stimulating and interactive environment with a growing
Drosophila group. There will be 4
Drosophila labs by the end of this year. We have
bi-weekly joined lab meeting with 10 NCI-Frederick labs and also
participate in monthly Baltimore fly group

Position requires a strong background in Molecular Biology. Experience
in Drosophila genetics helpful but not necessary.=20
Salary will be $29,000 up plus benefits. The technician position
requires a B.A. or M.S. degree. The work will involve maintenance of
