CONFERENCE FEE

There will be a conference fee of US$100, payable on registration on arriva=
l
at the meeting.  Bona fide students will be entitled to a 50% reduction.

ACCOMMODATION

Participants will be expected to make their own travel and accommodation
arrangements.  We hope to send out a map of the city of Funchal, indicating
the location of the symposium, and a list of suggested hotels, with contact
details.

SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE

The Scientific Committee, chaired by Dr. Robert R. Hessler, and including
Dr. Daniel Desbruy=E8res among its membership, are preparing a list of
speakers who will be invited to give 45 minute-long plenary talks.

INTERRIDGE OFFICE MOVE

As most of you will already know, the InterRidge Office is approaching the
end of its term at the University of Durham, UK.  Starting on 1st January
1996, the next 3 year term will be spent at the Universit=E9 Pierre et Mari=
e
Curie, Paris, France.  You will shortly receive a general announcement, to
be sent to our entire e-mailing list, giving contact details for the new
Office.  The Durham Office will close on the 20th of December (the computer
will be disconnected the day before).  The Paris Office will open during th=
e
week beginning the 6th of January.  If you have any urgent queries in the
meantime, please contact one of the members of the Organising Committee.
