Lecture Position at The School of Plant Science, University of Tasmania.
The School of Plant Science at the University of Tasmania is seeking to
appoint an innovative and energetic person to undertake teaching and
research in some discipline of plant science.
The appointee will hold a PhD in Plant Science, preferably in a field
complementary to existing strengths within the School and will possess a
well-established research publication record. An ability to undertake
collaborative research within the School of Plant Science or the
Co-operative Research Centre for Sustainable Production Forestry in the
University of Tasmania's theme areas of Natural Environment and Wilderness
or National and State Development is desirable. The appointee will be
expected to teach classes at all undergraduate levels in areas relating to
their specific expertise and will require a commitment to teaching
excellence and innovation.
The position will be offered on a tenurable full-time basis and the
commencing salary for this position will be within the range of $49,262 -
$58,083 per annum (Level B). The University offers excellent employment
