Lab manager position, Rockefeller University
Position available for a Lab Manager to handle laboratory=20
administration and contribute to research on C. elegans behavior and=20
nervous system development.=A0=A0 The lab uses a multidisciplinary =
that integrates C. elegans genetics, molecular biology and microscopy.
Responsibilities include setting up and organizing a research lab that=20=
is relocating to the Rockefeller campus, assisting with experiments as=20=
determined by the PI, training and supervising designated lab=20
personnel, and interacting with all levels of University personnel.=A0=20=
Other duties include overseeing equipment procurement and maintenance,=20=
assisting PI with personnel management, budgets and lab finances, and=20
managing lab safety programs.
Requires a BS in life sciences and a minimum of 2 - 5 years of=20
practical laboratory experience in molecular biology or C. elegans=20
genetics.=A0 Emphasis on responsibility, organization, interpersonal=20
skills, and problem solving.=A0 Ideal candidate will have an eye for=20
details, be able to multi-task and be self-motivated.
