biological significance sequenced by the NIH Sequencing Network is May
1. The Trans-NIH BAC Sequencing Program has been expanded to include
all model organisms with the exception of plants and prokaryotes. This
program is intended to address the interest of the larger biomedical
research community in obtaining sequence information about specific
regions of genomic DNA of biomedical or biological significance.
