SIM Fall Meeting

                                  Fall '98 Meeting

When:   October 8, 1998 beginning at 2:00 PM

Place:  Ramada Plaza Hotel, 275 Research Parkway, Meriden CT
        (just off I-91/Wilbur Cross Pkwy, East Main St Exit, 
         at end of exit turn west, turn at light onto Pomeroy Ave.)

Fee:    None!  Free!  So come one and all.  Students especially welcome!

Registration:  1:30 PM Get a name badge too.
               (Outside New Brunswick Conf. Room)

Presentations begin at 2:00 and end at 5:00 PM.

Microbially-induced regulation of secondary metabolism in plants.  Dr.
Kalidas Shetty, University of Massachusetts, Amherst

Protein expression systems for structureal studies.  Dr. Ajith Kamath,
Pfizer Central Research, Groton CT

Progress in combinatorial biology of natural products.  Dr. Stephen
Mamber, Bristol-Meyers Squibb Co., Wallingford CT

A social and dinner will follow the meeting in the Tropical Garden Room
and Royal Room following the formal session.  The cost to attend this part
of the meeting is $30 for members and their guests, $45 for non-members
(includes 1 year  membership) and only $10 for undergrad or grad students
(so bring a bunch along).
