An undergraduate course in electron microscopy will be
offered by Valparaiso University in Northwestern Indiana.
I am proud of the course and of the facility in which it is
offered, but it is not well publicized and has had
difficulty in attracting students in the summer (minimum
enrollment: eight; maximum: 12).
Description: Biology 290. Biological Topics: Electron
Microscopy. Three Credits. Prerequisite: one year of
college science. The principles and practice of preparing,
examining and photographing biological specimens for
scanning and transmission electron microscopy.

Days: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
