Thank you very much. I agree that apoptosis is specific style of
death and there are many hallmarks in the apoptotic cell. My
question is that after concentration of drug which should not
induce apoptosis is enough to kill cell, there must be
phosphatidyserine exposure on the outer member leaflet and DNA
fragment because of the release of nucleases. It seemed to be
confirmed by my experiment. For example, puromycin can kill
leukemia cell line, and it should not induce apoptosis of the cell
line. However, the experiment showed that there was clear DNA
fragment and positive result with phosphatidyserine exposure on
the outer member leaflet after puromycine treatment. Maybe,
puromycin can induce the apoptosis of the cell ? And is it
necessary to identify the two kind of apoptosis ?
