For the first time ever, the HGMP has created a course to be made
available exclusively to employees of commercial organisations, It is
designed to offer a general insight into current Bioinformatics, with
the intention of bringing participants up-to-speed with relevant in

be explained before participants work through detailed examples using
web based, publicly available software. Additionally there will be an
opportunity to get acquainted, not only with current commercial
software, but also with what the HGMP could offer your company in terms
of Bioinformatics support and processing power.
Subjects covered include:
Internet Data Resources
Nucleotide Sequence Alignment
Gene Identification
