Sr Engineer Global Technical Support

Global Technical Support (Or World Wide Research & Engineering) consists of a group of 18 resident consultants chartered to optimize global process and product technology. Each member has accountability to champion best practices and synergism on a global basis for a particular product or field of technology. This role will specifically focus on post fabrication surface treatment/finishing process technologies worldwide. This is expected to be at least a 2 year assignment focused on promoting best practices in all types of post treatment processes including lotion formulation, printing, coating and related technologies.
Ideally functioning as a global “hub”, you would network among worldwide facilities and organizations to cross-pollinate ideas and experiences. You would strive to introduce a global perspective in product/technology planning and execution, promote best practices and discourage counter productive activities or duplicate efforts. The role is one of catalyst rather than implementer, focused on stimulating/motivating others to take action toward cooperative/synergistic goals and objectives.
