An interesting question.

hello, recently my friend and me were arguing about something in human
anatomy.
so I decided to ask here...

does human sense of time depend only on external senses or do we have some
kind of
timer which ticks and alerts us that time has passed?

for example, if you cut all of 5 senses completely(theoretically) and then
turn them on
in 2 months, will the patient feel that 2 months had passed? or would it be
momentary?

thank you very much for you answer in advance.
