Research Technician
The University of Georgia Complex Carbohydrate Research Center seeks a
biochemist/chemist to work on analysis of carbohydrate and glycoconjugate
samples. This work involves sample preparation by chemical derivatization
and analysis by chromatographic methods and mass spectrometry, as well as
data analysis. This position also includes preparation for and assisting
with annual workshops in carbohydrate/glycoconjugate analysis. Experience
with one or more of the following techniques is desired: GC, GC/MS, LC,
MS, NMR spectroscopy. The position is available immediately, and salary
is dependent on experience. B.S. degree is required, M.S. preferred.
