Biotechnology is a catch all phrase that might mean different things to
different people. At Millersville U, where I teach, we offer a major in
biotechnology. This major is essentially a molecular biology degree.
Biotech centers on biotechnology, but mainly in applied biotechnology
(genetic engineering, cloning, genetic manipulation, etc.
