I think biotechs are the people who are responsible for the maintainence of
biological equipment. I could be wrong. I took a tour of a hospital lab two
weeks ago and there was a man working on an analyzing machine, and I asked what
he was doing. The guide told me that he was a biotech (I am pretty sure) that
was working on the machine that was broken. I would still ask your advisor
look on the web and see if you could find out.
