It could. I also saw that most of the bionet spams are coming
from the mail2news gateway. There is probably somethnig to do in
the mail parts of bionet (excluding invalid domains at the MTA
level, changing lists subscription to make it use an authentification
system..).
But I have absolutely no idea about the current status
and means of bionet. As a user, we could just ask for a better
service.
