What would be the best way of killing bacteria and other microorganisms in a pipe with a continual torrent of air (like in house ventilation systems)?
To me known methods are UV-radiation, sonication, HEPA-filter and several chemical treatments. Could any of these satisfactory sterilise air for, e.g. Hospitals and Medication industry?
