You are seeming to mix up a few things.
The mind is parts of the brain, effected by substances from the body.
Some (usually into some religious belief) need a psych-crutch because
they cannot handle death of for other reasons, and therefore make up
souls or other stuff.
What you are making for central questions of your belief stuff, is
pretty irrelevant to some others.
Or about as relevant as if some child asks how the Easter rabbit is
related to common rabbits.
There are rooms for religious discussions, and there you can go one
about souls and other religious belief stuff,
and might find others of your chosen belief to talk with you about
that.

There are also rooms for people into believing unproven theories of
physics to exchange stuff.
Many into magic I know regard enlightenment as important to understand
more about akasha.
Some might suggest you bang your shin into stuff and then you might
find out more about materialism and energies in differnt stages.

Does it.

Or too little about stuff that might lead to results they do not wish
to contemplate.

If it interests me how A human brain works,
I'd rather get some practicer of magic to allow me to perceive into
his on LSD.
