I am currently studying Biology at A-Level in the U.K. , and would
appreciate any input on the following:
What (if any) is the purpose of (dehydrogenase or in general) enzymes in
milk. Is it an excretory product from the parent? Do enzymes have a finite
no. of reactions they can catalyse, and hence have a"lifespan" or have to be
replaced? Does the presence of enzymes in milk benefit the offspring? Your
thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
Gareth
