I've been thinking about this for a while so I thought maybe a general
survey would be interesting... What do you guys think are the top... or
let's say 5 major frontiers in biology today. They can be unsolved
mysteries, uncharacterized mechanisms, unexplained processes etc. This
does not have to be a hot research topic, but it should be a major
unanswered question. Topics from any field of biology (neurobiology,
cell biology, even ecology) would be welcome. Thanks in advance, I'm
quite looking forward to any responses.
