Does anybody our there have any experience with the use of Chelex extracted DNA for sequencing?
For routine PCR diagnostics of Pneumocystis carinii we have used Chelex 100 with succes.
I plan to do rRNA sequencing, will Chelex extracted DNA work for cloning and sequencing? Is it stable in the freezer?
