Hello, I am a new poster to this group and was wondering if any of you
could answer my question.
My boyfriend's uncle is dying of lead poisoning and overexposure to other
toxins while working as a hospital maintenance supervisor. He had heard
there was a medication that could be given to reverse some of the damage
caused by lead exposure, but that it was only experimental with pretty
good results so far. Do any of you know anything about current
treatments or medications to treat lead poisoning? What can be done to
limit its damage to the brain and body?
I have an AS in Life Science, so I will definitely be looking in here in
the future.
Sincerely,
Anita
