Dear Colleagues
I'm currently on the "hunt" for a challenging research opportunity at
the level of a post-doc position in ecology.
The focus of my experiences and future interests lies mainly in
aquatic/community ecology and environmental management, with
particular interests encompassing inter alia:
- stable isotopes to trace material flows through communities and
ecosystems
- competition and predation as structuring forces in ecological
communities (e.g. soft-bottom benthos)
- patterns of resource utilisation, spatial and temporal density
variation
- definition of anthropogenic habitat modifications, environmental
stress, and development of environmental management strategies
I have extensive experience in working with brackish water, estuarine
systems and a solid footing in both field and laboratory techniques
(including biostatistics & community analysis which I currently teach
here at Vienna University).
I look greatly forward to hearing from you at:
MONIKA.HOENLINGER at UNIVIE.AC.AT
and attach in the meanwhile a CV so you can form at least a cursory picture of that suddenly
appearing figure.
Regards
Thomas
