I suppose this is a pet peeve of mine, but I think it's worth saying. The
use of the term "schizophrenic" in the media is frequently incorrect and
propagates the idea that those with the illness have a split personality.
Actually, the symptoms include hallucinations, delusions, disorganized
thinking, and restricted affect and sociality. I'm hopeful that this
malapropism will be used even less frequently in *this* medium.
