Dealing w/ Student Questions

I hereby congratulate David Doak on his witty response to the student
question issue. I thought this was a bio-info and other stuff server. I
thought that this was a forum for questions and answers AS WELL AS
discussion. I would like to feel that I could ask a question and hope that
maybe someone knows the answer to some part of it. Granted, I am still a
lowly undergrad and some of the stuff on the server in "over my head" or
not in my field (see below for my field), but it is always interesting and
mind-expanding.
I always remember my teachers saying "There are no stupid questions." I
will repeat that:

                         THERE ARE NO STUPID QUESTIONS!!!

A question may seem stupid to someone, but to the person inquiring, it is
not. I don't think the server has been inundated by student posts. I
think getting younger students involved in this way is great. (I'm making
myself sound old--which I'm not) but we didn't have this when I was in
middle/high school.
Let science and its knowledge spread to everyone interested. Who knows, in
10-20 years the people asking the "stupid" questions might become your
colleagues or maybe even fill up the last spot in the journal you want your
paper published in. We're all in this together.
