I am searching for the company which sells a peltier cooled water bath designed
primarily for DNA ligation reactions. We have a Boekel MicroCooler which has bit the
dust (RIP), and want to replace it with the Tropi-Cooler which has the advantage of being
able to heat as well as cool. Problem is, although I have seen the ads, I can not remember
who sells this product or where it was I saw the ad. Please post if you can help, or
have information on similar products. The Boekel only lasted 2 years, and the company
wanted a large sum to look at it for us. And from the looks of it an even larger sum to
fix it. A sour grapes point, they wanted $25 for a power transistor (one potential problem)
which cost $2 from an electrical supply store.
