There were a few questions about the biosci wais source and locating it
by searching the directory of servers. As I mentioned it is easy to change
the description of the current source. I will go a bit
further this time and volunteer to create a revised version of the source
file and send it into Dave for review and then on into think .com if that
would be a help.
Somebody asked why they couldn't find the bio-sci source when they searched
the directory of servers with the keyword "bionet", and then went on to ask
if the directory of servers is fully indexed. The souces are fully indexed
and searchable like all other wais databases - the reason why a search for
"bionet" doesn't find the biosci source is because that the word that is in
the source is "bio.net" (note the period).
Keep WAISing and Gophering - there's more out there every day :-).
