In article <Tue.14Jul92.1041.bionet-news at uk.ac.daresbury> you write:

: who are most in need of the special subscription services.

I'm one of the many people who don't have a newsfeed Una.

I'm using the "procmail" package to receive biosci mailing lists and
split them up into news articles in a fake news spool area where we
read them locally with the tin newsreader.

This message is coming from tin 1.1 PL4, using a workaround to simulate
a follow-up. Basically, I just change the To: field from the author's
mail address to the address of the biosci mailing list for that group.

I've been using tin PL3 to send messages to bionet.plants like this for
a while now, but I forgot to fix PL4 to use "sendmail" and half a dozen
articles which I _know_ left this machine (I actually watched the spool
queue as they left ...) seem to have been silently rejected by
daresbury.uk.ac because of problems with the mail header format.

I hope this one makes it ;-)
