it can server as a short-living archive to browse through. On the

doesn't sort alphabetically but uses a digital number. The display

Then, you might want to ask your name in the wais server via gopher,
and this gets you more detailed information on specific subjects.
Both news-gopher and wais database are rebuilt each night (european time).
