Forgive me for injecting a note of caution....
METHODS is probably the flagship of BIOSCI as it deals with matters of
immediate interest to the experimental molecular biologist and the group
has therefore attained a certain `critical mass'. The suggestion to
subdivide this group into specialities (paraphrasing) is risky; any
subcategories of METHODS would have to be kept exceedingly broad to avoid
the loss of valuable input.
I do not believe the traffic on METHODS currently warrants such partitioning.
