I am interested in the presence, type, synthesis, and gene
structure of capsules in Bacillus spp. I am aware of capsule
in B. anthracis but I haven't found any other references for
other Bacillus spp. Are there other references I can get?
Is there any correlation between gram pos capsule and gram neg
capsule type/synthesis/regulation?
What is the rationale for making capsule in gram pos organisms
over, say, spore formation?
In B. anthracis, is capsule a normal situation? or does the
absence of it favor spore formation?
