Tony,
You raise some valid points. To date I have not received any
formal proposal from Johnathan. If he submits one then we are
required to pursue the usual discussion and voting process, and you
can attempt to raise NO votes to turn the proposal down.
Regarding expiration of news, expiration dates can be set
differently for different newsgroups. As long as your site does not
go down for an extended period of time you should be O.K. Mail does
not stay queued to a site forever either.
