I attended a meeting yesterday at which a member of the UK's Joint
Network Team indicated that a number (>5) of commercial publishers
were considering putting some of their journals online when SuperJANET
comes onstream. In fact that is a fairly guarded version of what he
said. Unfortunately he didn't have the details (the British Library
appears to be managing the project) but if there's any
interest I will try to get them and post them. I know that a number
of journals appear on CD-ROM but the real reason for raising this issue
(yet again, I dare say) is to try and find out what's happening elsewhere
online?
