A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Somers lab to
study post-transcriptional mechanisms of circadian regulation in
Arabidopsis (https://molgen.osu.edu/people/somers.24).

The successful applicant will participate in projects involving
circadian regulation of nuclear trafficking, the role of phosphorylation
in the circadian system and other post-transcriptional processes that
control clock function. Extensive experience with protein handling
techniques and familiarity with confocal microscopy, plant
transformation and chromatin IP are desirable. A background in plant
genetics and experience with bioinformatics will be extremely useful.
Applicants should have a PhD in Biology, Biochemistry or related field.

Ohio State has a vibrant and interactive plant biology community that
spans three departments, providing a wide range of expertise and
training opportunities.

Interested applicants should send a cover letter, CV and contacts of at
least 3 previous supervisors or mentors to David Somers
(somers.24 from osu.edu <mailto:somers.24 from osu.edu><mailto:somers.24 from osu.edu>
