A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Somers lab to
study post-transcriptional mechanisms of circadian regulation in
The successful applicant will participate in projects involving
circadian regulation of nuclear trafficking, the role of phosphorylation
in the circadian system and other post-transcriptional processes that
control clock function. Extensive experience with protein handling
techniques and familiarity with confocal microscopy, plant
transformation and chromatin IP are desirable. A background in plant
genetics and experience with bioinformatics will be extremely useful.
Applicants should have a PhD in Biology, Biochemistry or related field.
