Dear Vjay and the Arabidopsis community,

The ABRC has many different “wild-type Columbia” stocks. The sequenced reference genome strain is CS70000. This is the progeny line of the wt Col line used for Salk T-DNA insertions.

If you are planning a genome-wide based analysis, I highly suggest you replace your laboratory stocks with this reference line, as we have detected polymorphisms between lab curated “wt Col-0” strains and the reference genome.

I need to order Col-0 wild-type seeds (sequence verified for purity). From
where do I order (ABRC or other sources) and please give me the stock
Last time I ordered was in 2004 from ABRC. I remember the stock number
was CS60000. I'm not sure it is still the same.
