Dear friends,

We have set up a support website to coordinate relief efforts by the
scientific community in the United States in response to the devastating
earthquake and tsunami disaster in Japan.

 http://nipponsciencesupport.net/home-us.html

The website contains a database that is meant to be used by scientists and
funding bodies in the U.S. to upload open positions for Japanese guest
students/research fellows, travel stipends, dedicated funding resources for
research stays, and to help with scientific infrastructure such as freezer
space and computational infrastructure. U.S. Government agencies as well as
Research Institutions provide means of travel/research support, e.g. through
the Rapid Response Research (RAPID

Please distribute this widely.

Sincerely

Wolf
