The Department of Biology at the University of Central Florida invites
applicants for a tenure-track faculty appointment in Evolutionary
Developmental Biology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.
Candidates should have a strong focus on the mechanisms of phenotypic
evolution in a broadly defined sense. The successful candidate will be
expected to establish and maintain an extramurally-funded research
program that complements our active and expanding faculty. The new
faculty member will have the opportunity to participate in Ph.D.
programs in Biomolecular Sciences and Conservation Biology, and
contribute to graduate and undergraduate education. The University of
Central Florida maintains a strong research emphasis with competitive
startup funds and teaching loads. Candidates must have a Ph.D. and
appropriate post-doctoral training.
