A Postdoctoral Position to study intercellular signaling processes in
plant development will be available at the Heinrich-Heine University
D=FCsseldorf, Germany, starting January 2004 or later. The position is
funded according to the german BATIIa scale.
The successful applicant will join a team of molecular geneticists to
study genes and gene interactions that mediate and regulate
development of shoot and root meristems in plants, with emphasis on
Arabidopsis thaliana (see Brand et al. 2000, Science 289, pp617;
Brand et al. 2002, Plant Physiol 129, pp565; Hobe et al. 2003, Dev
Genes Evol 5). Candidates should have a PhD in biology and a strong
interest in developmental biology.
