<font face="Arial, Helvetica">A postdoctoral position is available to
qualified candidates to investigate host-virus interactions. Research
projects will focus on characterizing <i>Arabidopsis thaliana</i> gene
expression changes at the mRNA and protein levels in response to virus
infection, and on determining the effects of these gene expression
changes on the virus infection process. A Ph.D. with emphases in
molecular biology, genetics and/or biochemistry is required. The
successful candidate will be expected to display independent and creative
approaches to the research project and to possess excellent oral and
written skills. Experience in plant molecular biology and/or biochemistry
with demonstrated proficiency in DNA, RNA and protein analyses is
required. Prior experience in plant virology is not a requirement. To
