October 13 issue of Science magazine:



The Department of Botany, The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, seeks a
plant molecular biologist for a tenure-track Assistant Professor
appointment to begin August 1, 2001.  A Ph.D.  with postdoctoral
experience, as well as a commitment to excellence in research and teaching,
are required. We seek candidates who are addressing problems in the areas
of molecular and cellular biology, development, or genomics of plants.
Supervision of graduate students and success in obtaining external research
support are expected. Teaching duties will involve undergraduate and
graduate teaching, including the areas of plant biochemistry or physiology.
Applicants should submit a complete curriculum vita, a brief summary of
research interests, and three letters of recommendation to: Chair, Plant
Molecular Biologist Search Committee, Department of Botany, University of
Tennessee, Knoxville, TN 37996-1100. Screening of applications will begin
