DBI/DuPont Ph.D. training in Plant Biology and Biotechnology

Delaware Biotechnology Institute/DuPont Corporation Joint Initiative in
Ph.D. Training in Plant Biology and Biotechnology:

	As part of the graduate program in Plant Biology at the University
of Delaware, the Delaware Biotechnology Institute  offers a unique Ph.D.
training in Plant Molecular Biology and related skills including
biotechnology in collaboration with DuPont.   Incoming students do one
rotation at the
university, followed by one rotation in a DuPont lab.  Student can
choose to complete their Ph.D. thesis at either institution.  All
students will have the opportunity to see how science is approached in
both industry and academia.  Coursework will be chosen from offerings
at the University of Delaware so as to be individually tailored to
student needs.  Admission is open to students of all nationalities.
