Post-doctoral Research Associate and Technician positions

Applications are invited for post-doctoral and technican positions in
the laboratory of Dr Jim Haseloff at the Department of Plant
Sciences. The positions are available as part of a project to map
domains of Arabidopsis gene expression, and to allow dynamic
monitoring of different cell types during plant development. The
work will involve the generation and description of transgenic plant
lines that contain new fluorescent markers.
The post-doctoral appointment is available for 3 years on
the standard University research associate salary scale
depending on qualifications and experience. Experience
with molecular biology techniques, plant transformation,
embryology and confocal microscopy would be an advantage.
The technician position is available for 2 years on the standard
salary scale. Experience with molecular biology or plant
transformation techniques would be an advantage.
