The following is an ad to come out in the Sept. 1 issue of Science for a
faculty position in plant molecular genetics.
WAKSMAN INSTITUTE, RUTGERS UNIVERSITY
Applications are invited for a position in plant molecular genetics,
with focus on plant-pathogen interactions, signal transduction, or other
cutting-edge areas of plant sciences. The appointment can be made at the
academic rank of Assistant Professor (tenure track) or above (tenured).
The applicant is expected to maintain a successful, externally-funded
research program and to have an interest in teaching at the
undergraduate and graduate levels. Applicants should send a curriculum
vitae, list of publications, a summary of research plans, and arrange
