The Pennsylvania State University

The Department of Biology invites applications for a faculty position (any
level) in plant developmental biology.  The Pennsylvania State University
has made a commitment to expanding research and education in the biological
sciences through a new, university-wide Life Sciences Consortium (see
http://www.lsc.psu.edu), which is co-funding the position.  Penn State
currently has three NSF funded training grants in plant biology.  We are
seeking an imaginative and interactive colleague who uses molecular,
genetic, and/or
biochemical techniques to research fundamental problems in plant
physiology and development.

The applicant should submit a curriculum vitae including publications,
grant support, and teaching experience, and a brief statement of research
and teaching
interests (four pages or less).  Materials should be sent to:
