A postdoctoral position is available to investigate the molecular and
genetic control of flowering in Arabidopsis. We have identified a mutant
(eaf) that is defective in regulation of flowering time, and studies are
underway to elucidate the role of the EAF gene in development. Possible
projects include: analysis of biochemical function of the EAF gene,
identification of interacting genes, and alteration of EAF expression by
transgenic approaches.
