Please bring the following opportunity to the attention of potential
PhD Position in Molecular Plant Cell Biology.
A PhD position with Dr Chris Hawes, Oxford Brookes University, is
avaialable from October 1997 to study the role of GTPases in endocytosis
in transgenic Arabidopsis cells. The project will combine a recently
established biochemical assay for endocytosis with a novel gene
expression technology developed in the Department of Plant Sciences,
Oxford University. The successful candidate will be registered for a
higher degree at Oxford Brookes University but some of the molecular
aspects of the work will be assisted by Ian Moore at the Department of
Plant Sciences, Oxford University.
For an informal discussion on the project please phone Dr. Chris Hawes
