Postdoctoral position - Evolutionary developmental genetics

A postdoctoral position is available for this summer or fall to collaborate
on a study of the molecular basis of inflorescence evolution in the
Brassicaceae. The project involves cloning genes involved in the
transition to flowering (e.g., LFY, AP1) from several crucifer species and
using these genes to transform Arabidopsis thalliana. Candidates should
have a strong background in plant genetics and molecular biology (including
cosmid library construction and screening, and Arabidopsis transformation)
and should be capable of acting in a supervisory role to students. Two
years of funding is available. For more information please contact me via
email. Applicants should send or email a curriculum vitae by April 9th.
