A postdoctoral position in available to participaate in an ongoing
project to determine number, types, and exprssion patterns of
functional carbamylphosphate synthetase genes in plants. We have
recently isolated the first reported plant CPSase gene, facilitating
the isolation and characterization of additional gene copies.
Previous experience in gene expression and molecular cloning is
essential and basic knowledge of moder methods of protein biochemistry
