We have received several requests for information about microsatellite
markers which we have developed as mapping tools for Arabidopsis. For
those in the Arabidopsis community who are interested, primer sequences,
polymorphism information, linkage map position and raw mapping information
are available for 30 microsatellites. To receive this information, send
an email message to cbell at atgenome.bio.upenn.edu with the letters "sslp"
in the subject line. Leave the message body blank. The information you
will receive is a summary of work submitted for publication to Genomics.
The primers themselves are being sold by Research Genetics Inc., 2130
Memorial Parkway, Huntsville Alabama 35801. Tel: 800-533-4363, FAX:
205-536-9016. 24 primer pairs are available immediately and the remainder
will be available within two weeks.(We have no connection with Research
Genetics other than as a customer).
