Kerry Tucker recently asked me about the seven bands seen on gels of
Arabidopsis RNA. As a graduate student, I estimated the size of these bands
based on relative mobility compared with BRL RNA standards and assigned
identities to some of the bands by matching the transcript sizes with those
listed for RNAs in the handbook, Methods in Arabidopsis Research, edited by
Koncz, Chua, and Schell. We would like to know if there is published data
about these bands with which I could compare my own guess-timates.
